Basement French Drain Failure

French Drain problems in houses occur when the drainage overflows or when the drains are closed due to the accumulation of dusts in the drain out pipe line. Once these French drains are clogged by waste particles it will result in leaking of drain water and makes the near by walls moist. This will reduce the strength of the wall by absorbing the minerals present in the cement that is used to build the wall. Because of the sewage leaking, french drain business was most necessary for the peoples in those houses. The people in this kind of business will help in permanently fixing this problem.

Other problems that occur due to this problem that can be solved only by the drain business are it will spoil the wood works in the house. Sewage leaking will result in the waste water standing still in the house. The most affected part in the house due to French drain is the meeting point of the walls in the basement. Electrical problems do occur when there is a leakage that spreads through the wall. This is the main cause of power leakage and electrical accidents in the house. Termites are another problem due to the moist basement in the house. These problems all together will reduce the re sale value of this house.
