The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S30 Digital Still Camera is the latest model in Cyber-shot series launched by Sony Electronics Corporation. It enables the user to capture Images of Good Quality and High Sensitivity with the help of 7.2 Mega pixel super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design. The 3X Optical Zoom Lens helps to capture sharp and quickly frame images for better composition with increasing sensitivity and reducing noise and this feature intelligently crops into the central position of interest in your photo and as a result of which image degradation of other digital zooms are avoided.
It features several convenient photo modes, including Auto, Program Auto, and scene selections such as Twilight, Twilight Portrait, and Landscape. The QVGA movie mode intends the user to capture 320 x 240 clips at high frame rate. It also features the user to fire off up to 3 shots at approximately 1.2 seconds intervals at any resolution with high sensitivity and allows shooting at higher shutter speed for better pictures in low-light conditions. The other feature includes Direct Playback and Picture Motion Browser Software which intends the user to have more control over the images. The 2.4” LCD display makes it easy to compose shots, check results, and share your photos. Memory in the device is of two forms, a 22MB internal memory and a built in slot which accepts optional Memory Stick.
